Payments and Returns

At Machu Picchu Peru Treks, we are committed to providing a seamless and transparent booking experience. Please read our payment and refund policy carefully before making a reservation.

1. Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)

  • Bank transfers (subject to processing fees)

  • PayPal

  • Cash payments (only at our offices in Peru)

To confirm your reservation, a deposit of 50% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before the tour departure date.

2. Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel your booking, the following conditions apply:

  • More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.

  • Between 15 and 30 days before departure: 50% refund of the total tour cost.

  • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund will be issued.

No refunds are provided for no-shows or unused services.

3. Changes and Modifications

  • Changes to the tour date are allowed up to 15 days before departure, subject to availability and a $50 modification fee.

  • Changes within 15 days of departure are not permitted.

4. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days.

  • Refunds will be issued through the original payment method.

  • Bank transfer fees and payment gateway charges are non-refundable.

5. Force Majeure

Machu Picchu Peru Treks is not responsible for cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions. In such cases, we will offer an alternative date or a partial refund at our discretion.
