Day 1: Hiking.
After picking up guests from their hotels at 6:00 am with our private van, we will start our journey towards the Malaga mountain pass (4,314 m/14,236 ft.) where our hike will start. Abra Malaga- Panticalle.

Hiking 08 hours approximately distance (14 km – 08.6 miles)

Day 2:  Stunning.
After waking up at 5:30 am we will have breakfast at 6 am and includes a very tasty local coffee. We will then go to hike to hot spring.

Hiking 10 hours approximately distance (14km – 8.5 miles).

Day 3: Llactapata.
Coffee tour in the area and a nice hike to the top from there we will enjoy one of the most spectacular views of Machupicchu. Hike Lucmabamba, Llactapata, Hidroelectrica and Aguas Calientes.

We will secure all necessary permits once we receive your complete information and reservation deposit. Permits are subject to availability and are issued for a specific date and under your name. They cannot be changed under any circumstances. Changes in password number are only permitted for renewal reasons. In that case, you must provide both your old and new passport.

In the event that a tourist requires medical attention during the trek, our staff will be able to assist you. We have a first aid kit. In an extreme case of a medical emergency, you will be evacuated to the nearest medical center.

We try to offer natural and organic food. we buy the whole ingredient from farm farmers; They work all their products naturally and without chemicals. We have professional chefs from Inca Trail.

Picchu Mountain is an optional trek within Machu Picchu Citadel which do not include a guide. The climb is usually done on your own after your tour of Machu Picchu Citadel. If you would like the extra hike to be guided, please request in advance. There is an extra cost for this extra guided tour.

Extra money to buy extra drinks or snacks has to be in Peruvian soles.

  • We recommend our hikers to arrive in Cusco 2 or 3 days before their trek. This will allow you to acclimatize to the height so as not to have problems in the walk.
  • In Cusco we have only one main airport, most flights arrive from Lima to Cusco, which is the most recommended and easiest for our tourists.
  • The trip from Lima to Cusco by bus is quite long approximately 22 hours and it is not recommended that you travel directly to Cusco. If you want to do it, we recommend that you do it by sections Lima – Nazca – Arequipa – Puno and Cusco.
  • In Cusco we have many hotels located throughout the city of Cusco. If you need help booking a hotel or would like some recommendations on where to stay, do not hesitate to contact us.
  • Arriving in Cusco you have extra days before or after your walk. We are happy to help you organize some more important tours as there are tourists who want to spend more days in the imperial city of the Incas.
  • We offer free pick up and transfer from the airport to your hotel in Cusco. We do this in order that you don’t have to worry about anything. Let us know in advance the airline company, the schedule and flight number that arrives in Cusco.
  • Near the weather, Cusco is located at 3,350 m or 11,050 ft. which makes the weather very difficult to predict. In Cusco, we have two seasons; the rainy season, which runs from November to March, and the dry season, from April to October. We recommend the dry season that is from April to October. But for some tourists the stations don’t matter and they plan their tour according to the time they have and it is possible to organize some tours according to the weather.
  • At near altitude sickness or soroche, Cusco is located at 3,350 m or 11,050 ft. Therefore, the air is short, dry and difficult to breathe for which it is recommended to arrive in Cusco 2 or 3 days in advance of the tour.

Itinerary

Early morning, our private transport will collect you from your Cusco hotel to start our “Secret Camino Inca” adventure to Machu Picchu. We will have breakfast in Ollantaytambo and then we will go up the high up pass called Abra Malaga (4,200 m /or 13,860 ft.) with its Polyepis forests and one of the most important peaks of the region, the Veronica (H’uacaq Huillca). After which our walk will continue with the assistance of llamas carrying our stuff, just as during Inca times. During this 6/7 hour walk we will experience a rich biodiversity whilst walking among rare birds, Andean bears, orchids and much more. You will also have the opportunity to walk

through Inca villages, where the direct descendants of the Incas live, and witness centuries-old traditions. At the end of this perfect Inca walk, a private bus will take us to our home for the night in Huyro. In the evening we will stop at 2 impressive archaeological centers, visit a local tea and coffee plantation, go on a short walk (optional) and check out a fascinating and secret waterfall. We will spend a relaxing night at the charming Cocha Pata lodge, where the chef will prepare a delicious dinner made with fresh local produce.

After breakfast we will explore another recently discovered Inca trail. private bus for about 40 minutes until the end of the road where we will start a pleasant walk through a tempered rainforest (jungle or “seja de selva”), rich in vegetation and forest life, original Inca paths, important mountains, and the sacred mountain called Salkantay (6,227 m /or 21,869.1 ft.), during which we will meet Andean people still living like the old days.

Continuing the walk, we will see beautiful Inca buildings such as the impressive “Inca Carcel” archaeological center, which was used to worship the Apus (sacred mountains) which surround the place. Following on our walk along the mysterious Inca trail we will find Inca terraces called “Pumachaca”, where people used to cultivate forest produce such as cotton, coffee, tropical fruits and coca leaves. Later on, we will walk along the Vilcanota river until reaching a railway and then we will relax in the thermal-medicinal hot springs of Colcamayo. Finally, our private bus will take us to our hotels in the village of Santa Teresa.

After a delicious breakfast made with local produce, we will ride our private bus until the village of Lucamabamba, a very warm place, where we will start our walk through a beautiful Inca trail full of flora, until reaching the will ride our archaeological and religious center “Llacta Pata”. Here there is an impressive panoramic view point where we will be able to observe the world wonder Macchu Picchu. We will then continue to hike hydroelectric, to Aguas Calientes. where we will spend the night in a hotel.

In the morning we will go to the Consettur bus station where we will board a bus to Machupicchu (2,400m/7,920 ft.). After ticket control and the classic photo, our 2/3-hour guided visit will start, during which the guide will explain the Inca’s history and we will also take a look at another peak called Huaynapicchu (2,700 m/8,910ft) –this mountain is very popular so to Climb it you need to book  in advance. After the visit our bus will take us to the village of Aguas Calientes. In the evening, a train will take us to Ollantaytambo from where will then reach Cusco by private transport, End of the tour
