Itinerary

Morning: Flight to Cusco, we recommend booking an early morning flight to Cusco. Upon arrival at Cusco’s airport, our team will be there to greet and assist you with your transfer to your hotel located in the city center. We recommend resting at your hotel for a couple of hours and having a light lunch before joining our guided tour that will introduce you to the local history, culture, and food.

Afternoon: Guided Tour

  • We will start off with a walking tour, visiting the Plaza the Armas – Cusco’s town square. There are a variety of times during the tour when we find ourselves focusing on the Inca walls of Cusco, searching for the seven snakes of Siete Culebras, admiring the famous 12-angled stone of Hatunrumiyoc, or for the shape of the puma at Inca Roca.
  • Next, to the vibrant San Pedro Market. It’s always a popular stop with guests to Cusco not just because of its vibrant colors and activity but also for the insight it provides into local life. Then, onto Qorikancha – the Incan Temple of the Sun, showcasing exquisite architecture. Once considered the most sacred temple in Cusco, it was dedicated to the supreme Inca deity – The Sun God.
  • Lastly and surely one of the most impressive, explore Sacsayhuaman, the Royal House of the Sun and one of the greatest stone monuments in Incan architecture.
  • Pick up from your Hotel will be later@7 AM.
  • We will first visit Chinchero, A small town famous for its spectacular mountain views, the traditional textile weaving cooperatives, and the well-preserved Inkan ruins. At the end of the tour, we will drive to your Hotel
  • By midmorning, We will explore the amazing Agriculture Terraces of Moray, believed to be an elaborate agricultural laboratory, and the famous Salt Mines of Maras, where locals obtain Salt from a local subterranean water stream.
  • By midday, we will make a stop at a local restaurant for a deserved lunch (Lunch is NOT included in the price)
  • Finally, after lunch, visit the Inca town of Ollantaytambo and explore the fascinating megalithic Ruins, learn about Inca culture and explore the local handcraft market along the way.
  • At the end of the tour, we will end this tour at the Train Station in Ollantaytambo so we take the early evening Train to Machu Picchu Town (A.K.A. Aguas Calientes) at 7 PM
  • Get ready for your private guided tour of Machu Picchu!
  • Early in the morning, you will meet your Guide at your Hotel lobby, he will show you the way to the bus station and hop on the shuttle bus up to Machu Picchu Park. Your private guide will accompany you to the Guard House at Machu Picchu where you’ll get the best view of this World Wonder, as well as an extended tour and explanation of the history, surrounding areas, and the sacred legend of Machu Picchu.
  • Following your private tour (optional and subject to availability at extra cost) you can join us on the Hike to Huaynapicchu Mountain. Then, return to Aguas Calientes and have time for lunch
  • Finally, you’ll begin your journey back to Ollantaytambo or Cusco.
  • Pickup will be from Hotels in Cusco City – The exact time will be confirmed a day before. We proceed to drive nearly 3 hours in a private car to the trailhead where we will provide you box breakfast upon arrival to fuel up for the trek ahead of you.
  • After enjoying our breakfast we start hiking. We will hike for around 2 Hours roughly until the top of the RAINBOW MOUNTAIN, you will have time to explore the area and take pictures. We will spend approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour (depending on your trekking speed and weather conditions).
  • Then we get back to the trailhead (1.5 hours approx.), where we catch our van, then we drive for one hour more to our Lunch spot Cusipata(3,250m/11,000feet) After lunch we return to Cusco and drop you off at your Hotel.
  • You can depart Cusco City at any time during the day and connect to your international flight or cruise ship, and we will arrange for your transfer to the airport.
  • You can extend your trip by one extra day and choose from additional activities such as immersing yourself in local culture, taking a cooking class to learn about traditional Peruvian cuisine, or embarking on a day hike to Humantay Lake for a breathtaking natural experience. This allows you to further customize your itinerary and make the most out of your trip to the Cusco region.
